perspectives [micro] consists of a structure derived from sleeping brain activity data that provides an isolated viewing experience of the sound and video material. The work manipulates the viewer’s perception as sequences of video and sound material contort and blend in an attempt to disrupt the perceived flow of time. The audio-visual content consists of visualisations and sonifications of found data sets, algorithmic processes and physics simulations.
